Good News for Diabetics: The 'Affordable Medicines' Program
Starting October 8, 2023, our company is getting even closer to its customers by becoming one of the first to join the state program for the reimbursement of medical devices. This program, known as "Affordable Medicines," is a government mechanism that covers the cost of medicines and medical devices, ensuring their economic accessibility (price) and physical availability (presence on the market). Currently, the program helps patients with cardiovascular diseases, bronchial asthma, and now, diabetes.
Specifically for people with diabetes, all blood glucose test strips from Dolphi-Ukraine's brands—TM Bionime Rightest, TM Gamma, and TM 2B—can be obtained through a doctor's prescription under the reimbursement program. This means you can get them either for free or with a small co-payment, as the government covers a portion of the cost.
According to Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Order No. 1495, test strip reimbursement is available for people with Type 1 diabetes, which, according to the National Health Service of Ukraine (NSZU), is approximately 108,000 Ukrainians.
To get test strips through the program, you need to get a prescription from your doctor and go to a pharmacy that has a contract with the NSZU under the "Medical devices for blood glucose measurement" program.
According to the current protocol, the calculated daily norm for blood glucose measurement is 5 tests per day, which amounts to almost 3 packs of test strips (#50 count) per month for one patient.

For more than 12 years, Dolphi-Ukraine has been developing a range of condoms and intimate gel lubricants. Despite the fact that over the years DOLPHI, LEX and SEXXXYI have ensured one of the leading positions in the Ukrainian market, the company is looking for new opportunities of development.
Extensive research was provided among consumers and market participants to determine the main changes of brands and its positioning in the market, assortment, look, and product characteristics.

On 5.04.2022, Dolphi-Ukraine, Dnipro, received a license for the wholesale trade in medicines, reorganized its processes and logistics facilities in accordance with the new requirements and began selling medicines to customers.
Already in the first 3 months of work, more than 15 contracts has been concluded with domestic and foreign manufacturers. Dolphi-Ukraine strives to become for pharmacy chains not only the best logistics operator within the offer of medicines, but also to be the primary distributor and provide a full range of services within the distribution.

To this end, extensive research of consumers and market participants was conducted, and the main changes in the MEDTEXTILE brand and its market positioning, product range and quality were identified.
Having completed all the planned changes, Dolphi-Ukraine organized a large-scale advertising campaign for MEDTEXTILE, the main purpose was to inform consumers about bandage products and their useful properties.
